When it comes to holidays with the children, there are never too many questions! That’s why, at the Astoria Comfort Hotel in Andalo, we love responding to parents’ doubts and to small (or big) questions. We’ll share the ones that mums and dads like you ask us most frequently, but if you have any others, please drop us a line or call us.

+ 1. How much does a holiday at the Astoria Comfort Hotel cost? Are there any discounts for children or family plans?

The cost of a holiday at the Astoria Comfort Hotel varies based on the period, the room type and the composition of the family unit. We suggest you check our special offers frequently (https://www.astoria-andalo.com/it/offerte-hotel-andalo/), to avoid missing out on the best deals.

Discounted rates are available for children, who pay a reduced price based on their age: up to 1 year, from 1 to 8 years and from 9 to 14 years. We also offer special family plans: 2 adults and 2 children up to 14 years of age in the same room pay 3 adult rates only; there is a discount for one child up to 8 years of age in a double room with an adult.

+ 2. Where is it best to book my holiday? And how can I book?

We recommend booking directly with us, to avoid commissions:
you can request a free price estimate via our website (https://www.astoria-andalo.com/it/preventivo/), or you can call us or send us an email. This way, we guarantee you the most advantageous conditions and a personalised offer, with a flexible cancellation policy, based on which we will refund of your deposit up to 21 days before your arrival.

Once the price estimate is confirmed, you can book by simply sending a deposit of 30% of the cost of the holiday.

+ 3. What happens to my deposit if I decide to cancel my holiday?

If you cancel your holiday in writing within 21 days of your arrival date, we will refund your deposit in full. Between 21 and 11 days, we will retain the entire deposit. If you cancel from 10 days before your arrival until the date of your departure, we will ask you to pay 80% of the booking confirmation.

+ 4. What are the check-in and check-out times?

On the day of your arrival, the room will be available from 4 pm onwards, while check-out is by 10 am on your day of departure. If you plan to arrive before the check-in time, you can always leave your car in our garage and use our services.

+ 5. Does the hotel have a car park or a garage? Is this service included or does it entail a fee?

Yes, the Astoria Comfort Hotel has an indoor covered car park available to all guests. It is a private underground garage and is free of charge. Each family can find a parking space, which is included in the price of the stay. From the garage, you can use the lift to get to our reception and, with your luggage, using the trolleys provided, to the floors where the rooms are located, without having to go outside or worry about the weather.

+ 6. Where exactly is the hotel located? Do I need transportation to get to the centre and to the ski lifts?

The hotel is in an excellent position: we are in a quiet and scenic area, overlooking the Brenta Dolomites, in the flat part of the centre of Andalo.

You can get to the centre on foot and also to the Andalo Life Family Park, with its 130,000 m² of sports, fun and family activities.

The Paganella ski lifts are about 300 metres from the hotel: you can get to them on foot or by using the free skibus that stops right in front of the hotel, without having to move your car. We offer a dedicated service to accompany your children on the slopes, so you don’t have to worry about anything during your skiing holiday.

+ 7. How can I reach you by car?

It’s very easy: exit at the Trento Nord toll booth, follow the signs for Mezzolombardo and then for Fai della Paganella and Andalo. The Astoria Comfort Hotel is 20/30 minutes from Trento, making it suitable also for people travelling with very young children or for those who suffer from motion sickness.

+ 8. What if we want to travel by train?

No problem. A shared transfer service is available from Trento Station and can be booked online (paganellatransfer), or we can arrange a personalised transfer from Trento Station and from the closest airports.

+ 9. What services are available for children at the hotel?

We are a 100% family-friendly hotel, where every space and service is designed for families with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers: Mini Club every day from 9 am to 10 pm, for children aged 4 years and up; Baby Club for children aged 1 to 3 years, from 9 am to 2:30 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm; on request, we can provide a changing table, potty, toilet seat adapters, safety rails, sterilizers, bottle warmers, night-lights, camp beds, cutlery, place mats, booster seats and high chairs; baby foods for weaning, the Andalotto Baby Menu and, from Monday to Saturday, children can eat in the private dining room with the entertainment staff; walks and guided tours for the whole family; an aquatic area with a children’s pool and two water slides.

+ 10. Do you have a pool? Is it heated?

Yes and not just one! We have a 900 m2 area with three heated, indoor pools, exclusively for families staying at the hotel to use free of charge!

There’s a children’s pool with two fun water slides, a relaxation pool for adults with a whirlpool and loungers immersed in the water, as well as a pool where the whole family can swim and play together. The pools have an innovative, chemical-free water sanitisation system to protect children’s delicate skin.

+ 11. Do you have a wellness centre? Is there a fee?

Our wellness centre is complete with sauna, Turkish bath, tropical rain shower, whirlpool, Kneipp path and a relaxation area. It can be used free of charge and booking is required. To book exclusive use of the wellness centre for families or couples, there is a fee: the service is available on Wednesdays from 9.30 pm to 11 pm and on Fridays from 10 am to 11.30 am. The price for 5 people is €40.00.

We also offer facial and body treatments for adults and children, with prices that vary depending on the treatment.

+ 12. Do you offer guided activities and/or excursions for children and adults?

Of course! We offer a rich programme of activities included in the price of your stay, from Monday to Saturday: guided walks and experiences suitable for all ages and fitness levels. We organise everything for you, so you don’t have to worry about anything; if necessary, we can even book restaurants or tickets for the experiences.

The excursions start with a single group and are then split into two groups, based on energy levels: an easier one, also suitable for strollers, and a more intense and adventurous one.

+ 13. I don't have a trekking stroller or a baby carrier: do I need to buy one?

No, there’s no need to buy one – you can rent one from us at a special price. Trekking strollers are rented weekly, while baby carrier backpacks are rented daily. This way, you can avoid purchase costs and optimise your car space.

+ 14. Do you have bikes available for adults and children?

Yes, you can rent mountain bikes, also with child seats and trailers, as well as children’s bikes of various sizes, free of charge at the hotel.

+ 15. What type of board do you offer? What meals are included?

We offer half-board, which includes: a rich breakfast buffet; a hearty afternoon snack for everyone, with options like sweets and fragrant focaccia flat bread; a gourmet dinner served at your table, with a choice of traditional, creative and vegetarian menus. Children can dine with our entertainment staff from Monday to Saturday and enjoy the delicious foods on the Andalotto and Andalotta baby menu.

At lunchtime, we let guests decide whether to stay and eat with us, ordering whatever they prefer from the à la carte menu, while children can dine with our entertainment staff for a fixed price of €14.00.

We also offer a variety of options for people with food intolerances and coeliac disease.

+ 16. Do you have holiday apartments?

Yes, we have two holiday apartments in Andalo, in a splendid scenic area, just 200 metres from the hotel. Both apartments measure 70 m2 and can accommodate up to 5 people. They have a living room with a fully-equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, a small bedroom with 3 beds, one of which is a raised bed (in the Sunrise apartment) or 2 beds, one of which is a raised bed (in the Sunset apartment), two bathrooms with shower, a private garden and a reserved parking space.

The apartment stay includes all hotel services (excluding meals), such as the Baby Club and Mini Club, the pool area, access to the wellness centre and the weekly guided activities we organise for all the family.
